We have been closely monitoring the rapidly evolving situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. As of March 13, 2020, COVID-19 has been confirmed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
While the Public Health Agency of Canada expects those numbers to increase, without sustained human-to-human transmission, the risk to Canadians is still classified as low. Nevertheless, we are taking the information as it is released from our governing bodies very seriously and we will take measures that align with what is best for our community, including our employees, customers, and other partners.
As always, health and safety is our top priority. Bennett Land Surveying is taking every precaution reasonable in the circumstances to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
As of today, March 16th, 2020, our offices remain open and our operations are continuing as usual with increased attention to common-sense practices and measures to support social distancing.
We will keep everyone updated as more information becomes available. Please stay safe and with your families during this difficult time.
We will provide updates should the situation change and new recommendations are issued by the Provincial Medical Health Officer and the Government of Canada.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at any time.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these unprecedented circumstances.
Sincerely,
Patrick Korabek
President
